DoneThat home screen showing the day reconstructed into readable summaries

Home

At the end of every workday a summary of your activity is generated either by clicking "Finish Day" at the top of your app or automatically around midnight.

At the end of every week, month, quarter, and year you will also get a summary. for that period.

For each period you can set goals here. Either input goals: Goals based on how much time you want to spend. Or output goals: Something you want to achive.

These goals help Don, DoneThat's coach, to keep you on track and coach you on next steps.

Calendar

Calendar

This is the most detailed view of your tracking data. Each day has two columns: On the left you see minute-by-minute data, on the right the auto-generated tasks associated with those activities.

You can toggle between a day, week, and month view. In each view, use the download button at the top right to export a CSV for that time frame.

Add manual entries by dragging an entry in an empty space on the calendar.

Tasks

Tasks

At the end of every day, activity is automatically grouped into tasks. These tasks are then assigned to projects. Projects can be grouped in Portfolios.

By default, AI will add up to eight projects. You can also add or edit your projects in your settings.

A "private" project will not count towards your total hours worked in your stats.

A "confidential" project will automatically make all tasks invisible in that project but still count towards your stats.

Projects shared by a team will appear in every team member's project overview and their tasks will automatically be assigned to them as they fit.

Feed

Feed

See activity of people you follow, your members of your teams and organization, and public profiles. If you see people you don't recognise here, those are probably public profiles.

Comment or like other's activity to encourage them or align on work. If you like or comment on their activity, they will receive a notification with their daily summary email.

Your own profile is set to private by default. This means that only people you accept as followers will be able to see your activity. You can change this in settings.

When setting your visibility to team, organization, or public, broader audiences can see your activity by default, for example for easier alignment or accountability.

If you also set up a tag in settings, you get. a public URL to share if your profile is public. You can set if your profile should also be indexed on Google in that case.

Stats

Stats

You can see your work split by categories for the last seven days in the first two charts. If you set the value of your time, the charts will calculate the money-equivalent you spent on each category.

The activity calendar shows the most salient category per day. The strength of the color indicates how long you worked.

The global comparison matrix indicates how you compare to averages accross cohorts on DoneThat. Keep in mind that this is not a competition, it is a tool to help you understand how others work.

If you are part of a team, we will show team data here only if the team has enough people active at the same time to ensure anonymization.

Don

Don, the DoneThat AI coach, suggesting actions from your work

Don

Don is DoneThat's proactive agent. He can help you stay on track, coach you, and cheer you on.

Everybody has a different need for interaction with Don, though. That's why you can specify in your settings which actions Don should be allowed to take and specify custom prompts. Don can also adjust those when you ask him to.

Teams

Teams

You can be part of more than one team. Each team is part of an organization.

Everybody can add new team members but only admins can remove people.

Everybody is private by default, if you want to share your summaries with your team, you can change your visibility in your social settings.

Team-level projects and portfolios can be managed on the tasks page.
