Dynamic creative optimization (DCO) builds finished ad variants from modular parts rather than shipping one static creative per campaign. A performance marketing lead defines audiences, placements, and eligible assets. The system then combines headlines, body copy, images, video clips, logos, CTAs, and offer blocks into variants matched to who sees the ad and where it runs.

Performance marketing leads should confirm that top variants still match the brief, that offers remain valid, and that no edge-case assembly slipped past automated checks. Retire or suppress losers quickly so learning budgets concentrate on the approved set.

When results stall, change one controlled layer at a time: refresh underperforming modules, tighten audience rules, or adjust placement eligibility. Avoid opening the floodgates to every asset at once if you still need to explain what moved CPA, CTR, or ROAS.
